I've read that these gearboxes are brilliant when they work but can be expensive when they don't, so I'm trying not to panic but I also don't want to ignore it. A fluid and filter change might help but I'm not sure if that's the actual fix or just delaying something bigger. I've been looking for a Top Volkswagen service specialist in Dubai because I'd rather have someone who knows DSG boxes look at it than a general garage that'll just tell me to live with it. Has anyone had this jerking on a DSG and what sorted it? I'm really hoping it's not a mechatronic unit failure, because those sound like the stuff of nightmares.
